On November 15th and 16th, KONAR Industrial Group organized a series of career guidance meetings at South Ural State University. At the venues, students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology met their potential employer: studied the products being manufactured by this group of companies, and learned about the technology and production processes specifics.
"I'm studying to become a mechanical engineer, so I'm planning on working and developing in this field of activity. I'm sure that my knowledge and skills will prove useful to this company since KONAR is actively working on the automation of technological processes and productions," shared 2nd-year student Nikita Akhrimenko. "We've been very lucky to meet the specialists, who represented this company. It's always fascinating to listen to a person who talks about something s/he is passionate and knows a lot about. The meeting was organized as an open dialogue, so we could ask all our questions. It was also useful to try and assemble most complicated equipment – pod propulsion system for arctic boats. Even though it was just a jigsaw puzzle for now."
Students will be able to try their hand in profession pretty soon – when they will take their educational training and internship.
