New Season of the My Country—My Russia Contest Dedicated to the Cultural Heritage

Young people are invited to participate in solving pressing socio-economic issues of Russian regions, cities, and villages.

In 2022 the All-Russian educational project My Country—My Russia celebrated its 19th anniversary. The contest is one of the projects of the Russia Is a Land of Opportunities presidential platform.

My Country—My Russia is a Russian competition for enterprising residents of Russia who care about the present and future of their region and are ready to offer ideas and implement projects aimed at improving the quality of life and solving socio-economic problems.

Every year, alongside the contest My Country—My Russia, thousands of people aged 14 to 35 bring their ideas to life in the cities where they were born, study, work, raise children, and take care of their loved ones. The authors of the most relevant initiatives receive support, educational grants, benefits for admission to Russian universities, internships, and employment opportunities at major Russian companies.

The contest helps launch ambitious projects, brings participants together, helps them find like-minded people, and start working in a friendly community. Participants' ideas often find application in several regions of the Russian Federation.

The main theme of the contest coincides with the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, as announced by the President of the Russian Federation. In the new season, experts will examine projects aimed at addressing issues of socio-economic development of Russian territories, presented in 17 topics. The full list is available on the official website of the competition: https://www.moyastrana.ru/. You can also submit an application to participate in the competition at this link.
