On December 16th, a new exhibition devoted to the history of the Urals of the 17th - early 20th centuries will be opened at the People and Technologies of the Urals Museum and Exhibition Complex at South Ural State University.
The exhibition is based on many years of work of employees of the Eurasian Studies Research and Education Centre of the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities. The display will share about the development of new territories, protection of borders and construction of fortresses; the creation of mining and metallurgical industry; the emergence of cities and numerous peoples in the Urals. The exhibition presents a number of exclusive materials that have no analogues in other museums in the region.
