The City through a Camera Lens: "It's Mine" Exhibition Opens at SUSU

Through the pictures taken by them as well as in their narrations 17 photographers are reflecting on the relationships between a person and the city, and on the boundaries of the space we call "our own". An "It's Mine" ("Моё") exhibition opens at South Ural State University. This creativity event has been organized jointly with the Klopovnik bunker art space.

Every one of us has his/her own vision of the city. In these shots, there is no place for stereotypes or challenge; they project only sincere and emotional stories about the life in Chelyabinsk. During just one day each photographer took four pictures of the city, where they live, and shared about a memory, or captured an emotion, which a place and people there are associated with. The exhibition visitors will see 68 conceptual works, as well as a video installation.

The exhibition opening is planned to be held on April 21st at 13:05. The photographs will be exhibited in the hall on the 3rd floor in the SUSU main building. The exhibition will work within the course of one week.
