SUSU to Celebrate Tatiana Day

Student festivities will begin on the square in front of the SUSU Main Building on January 25th at 14:00

 

South Ural State University will be traditionally celebrating Tatiana Day on January 25th. “Students Are a Special Brotherhood” is the motto of the event. The program includes: popular fun activities and attractions, sleigh rides, mulled wine, tea, and various delicacies.

On the occasion of Tatiana Day, Rector Aleksandr Shestakov will traditionally grant three wishes. Any SUSU student could write about his/her dream to the Rector. The requests should contain suggestions on improving the educational process, the organisation of events, improving the living conditions in the Campus, and developing students’ opportunities in extracurricular activities. All letters will be reviewed by the Expert Council headed by the Rector, and the most burning issues will be announced at the event.

Also, within the framework of the celebration of Tatiana Day, a dance battle between academic staff and students will be held. The final part of the event will include performances by creative teams of the SUSU Recreation Centre, such as Primavera Choir, Folk-Tone ensemble ,and Deep Vision Dance Theatre.

After the outdoor activities, an event-packed festive program, including five various events, such as a guitar performance, a master class on making crafts, a cinema evening, a master class on painting, and a gala performance by the Gattaka Historical Dance Studio will be organized in the study rooms of the SUSU Scientific Library from 15:00 till 18:00.
