South Ural State University is hosting the 2nd Student Science and Technology Conference on Asteroid Safety

December 7th through December 11th, South Ural State University is hosting the 2nd Student Science and Technology Conference on Asteroid Safety.

The conference aims at evaluating the results of the project-based learning of students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, who have been working within the projects of the Asteroid Youth Design Bureau in the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and the Department of Automatic Control Systems along with the Department of Information-measuring Equipment of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science act as the organizers of the event.

The 2nd Student Science and Technology Conference will feature presentations by the project-based-learning students and students, who are participating in the work of the Asteroid Youth Design Bureau.

Format of the conference: in person.

Main fields of the reports by the conference participants:

–Design of Rocket and Space Equipment (students from programmes 24.03.01 Guided Missile Systems and Cosmonautics; 24.05.01 Designing, Production and Operation of Missiles and Rocket and Space Complexes; 24.04.01 Missile Complexes and Cosmonautics);

– Propulsion Units for Rocket and Space Equipment (students from programme 24.05.02 Aircraft and Rocket Engines Designing);

– Control Systems for Rocket and Space Equipment (students from programme 24.05.06 Aircraft Control Systems);

– Information Technologies for Rocket and Space Equipment (students from programmes 12.03.01 Instrumentation Engineering, specialisation in Information and Measuring Technology in Instrumentation Engineering; 12.04.01 Instrumentation Engineering, specialisation in Information and Measuring Technology in Innovation Industrial Projects);

– Power Supply Systems for Rocket and Space Equipment (students from programmes 13.03.02 Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering, specialisation in Aircraft Electrical Equipment; 13.04.02 Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering, specialisation in Automated Electromechanical Complexes and Systems).
