Rosmolodezh Agency Launches Idea Hackathon

December 11th through December 13th, Rosmolodezh Agency will hold the first Idea Hackathon online, where players can develop new products for the millennials. Students of South Ural State University are invited to participate in the event.

The platform of the Rosmolodezh Hackathon is an effective field for interaction between the youth, experts and representatives of the institutes that are interested in the creation of the real solutions, which are useful and in demand here and now. Over the period of 48 hours, teams of 3-5 people, together with the experts from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and specialists from various industries, will be able to constructively interact on four relevant cases and propose solutions to the topical issues.

The participants of the Idea Hackathon are young people aged 18 to 30, the representatives of various professions from all over Russia, ready to form solutions, unite in teams and create popular projects and products for young people of different ages. The teams will have the opportunity to take part in the formation of the state youth policy, become an ambassador of Rosmolodezh, and apply their knowledge and skills in creating a product “for themselves”. Two experts from Rosmolodezh and one tracker will continuously work with each team to help form the goal and achieve it, formulate and test hypotheses, and evaluate the team's activities and the obtained solution.

The assessment of the developed solutions will be carried out according to the preliminarily set and indicated technical and social criteria, and the ideas created during the Hackathon will be able to be implemented by the teams regardless of their location.

The winners of the intellectual competition will have the opportunity to receive financial support in the amount of up to 1.5 million roubles for the implementation of the project, the opportunity to undergo an internship at the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, and useful prizes in the form of branded products from the Idea Hackathon.

The registration for the competition is open on the project website until December 7th.
