SUSU Students Are Invited to Join the Celebration of Youth Day

Youth Day was first celebrated on June 27, 1958. Today the holiday marks its 62nd anniversary.

Every young person in our country is unique. This is demonstrated by successful socially-significant initiatives, achievements in science, creativity, sports, and much more. On the eve of Youth Day, Rosmolodezh (Federal Agency for Youth Affairs) has launched a challenge on social networks under the hashtags in Russian and in English: #ДеньМолодежи2020 and #YouthDay2020. The activities can be attended by young people and the older generation. Representatives of the international community can also join in on congratulating their peers from Russia.

1. Challenge for young people

Participants are invited to post a photo from their graduation (from primary school, secondary school, or university), tagging their friends from their childhood and youth, thereby passing the baton to them. They are also invited to publish photos or videos of exciting moments of their life spent with friends, tag them and their acquaintances from other regions, whom they met at events, passing the baton to them.

2. Event for Russian citizens over 30

Those who want to participate can congratulate the youth of Russia on their holiday and remember some exciting moment of their graduation night, post a photo with classmates or students of the same year, tagging them and passing them the baton.

3. Challenge for citizens from other countries

Participants are invited to congratulate the youth of Russia on their holiday and post a photo with friends from Russia, tagging them on social networks.
