International Students, Who Did a Great Job during the Russia Day Campaign, Were Awarded Prizes

The participants of the “SUSU Russia Day” campaign had to design a white T-shirt with a thematic Russia Day pattern in the “SUSU Colours of Russia” nomination (#КраскиРоссииЮУрГУ), make a photo and send it in as a picture. 

The special mention by the organizers was Murukkuvadur Tarinda Devinda Mendis, a student of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications, whom they decided to congratulate personally. The international student received a gift card for the amount of 3000 roubles to the sporting goods store from the SUSU Trade Union Committee, as well as a movie ticket. 

To participate in the online event “Sing the Anthem of Russia”, the participants had to perform the full version of the Russian anthem to the phonogram, record the performance and send the video in. In addition to all those willing to participate, the campaign was personally supported by the SUSU Rector Aleksandr Shestakov, university staff, as well as students, including international ones. The organizers of the event marked Sanjana Prabod for his pretty good performing of the Russian national anthem, and awarded him with a memorable gift.
