The UniRank ratings system is formed based on evaluations of the university’s websites. The goal of the ranking system is to help students, lecturers, and researchers determine the level of popularity of a given institution of higher education in the country in terms of their online presence.
A special algorithm is used to calculate the positions. It is based on independent indicators, which are carefully gathered from popular websites and processed. The selection of websites takes into account such indicators as the level of site traffic, the number of active links, and the indicators of flow metrics. The ranking also takes into account the number of unique visitors and the number of views of the university web pages from mobile devices and from PC users.
