SUSU Invites International Students to a Professional Retraining Programme on Russian Language

 

The SUSU Institute of Linguistics and International Communications is presenting international students the opportunity to earn a diplma as a translator in the field of professional communication..

International students in bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate programs can complete the professional retraining course “Translator in the Field of Professional Communication (Russian)”

The lessons will be held at a time convenient for the course’s students.

The program will consider issues of intercultural communication, theory of translation, stylistics of Russian language and culture of speech, literary editing of translated documents, and more. The program includes practical training in translation students and the culture of oral communication in Russian. The students will have practical training in obtaining professional skills and experience.

Graduates of the program will perfect their lexical and grammatical skills in Russian, get acquainted with business documents and the specifics of business communications, and learn to write resumes.

Graduates of the program will earn new skills in intercultural communication in various professional spheres; can function as a middleman in intercultural communication; and can use translation technologies with consideration of the form of text being translated to achieve the best possible communication.

The program is 400 hours of class time. At the end of the program, the students will be awarded a diploma of professional retraining.
