Dear graduates,
I am happy to congratulate you on the completion of your studies at South Ural State University! It seems like only yesterday you were nervous and excited to find your names on the admissions lists, and now you are already holders of the diplomas of one of the leading universities in our country.
You will no longer be rushing to lectures early in the morning, or getting ready for the exams for several nights in a row. It is an official wrap-up with regard to laboratory works, term papers, and qualification work defending. You did it! But your journey continues, and the most complicated stage, full of responsibilities, but also a fascinating one, full of opportunities, awaits ahead.
Today, you are young specialists ready for professional growth and achieving successes in the chosen fields. I am sure that if you are persistent and work hard, everything will work out for you. You will become true professionals in your fields, you will be in-demand and will have authority, and you will become part of the engineering, economics and cultural elite of our region and of our country, like the previous generations of SUSU graduates have done before you.
Thank you for being part of the huge and friendly university family all these years! You did excellent job in representing your Alma Mater at Olympiads, seminars and conferences, winning scholarships and grants, actively participating in social life, and contributing to the scientific, creativity and sports accomplishments.
It is thanks to you that SUSU is being recognized and appreciated far beyond our country’s borders, and that our university is confidently climbing up in national and international rankings, and becoming a leading SMART university. We are constantly gaining prestige, and diplomas of South Ural State University will always be something to be proud of.
Today, we are seeing you off into the adult life, but this does not mean we are saying goodbye to you. Postgraduate studies, second higher education, or joint projects… – whatever you choose, the doors of your Alma Mater will always be open for you! I hope we will meet again, as colleagues, partners, or just friends. Many important events, brilliant victories and significant achievements await you.
