Regional Educational Meeting of Volunteers to Be Held at Olimp Sports and Recreation Camp

July 1st through July 13th a regional education meeting of volunteers will be held at the SUSU Volunteer Centre as part of the first educational session SVOBODA (FREEDOM) at Olimp Sports and Recreation Camp.

During two weeks students will be offered master classes and trainings from the federal experts and invited guests, daily classes on self-development and personal growth of the participants, practicing English with a native speaker, lectures on the history of creating the volunteer movement in the Ural region, and training for the 2020 international events.

Among the invited federal coaches to be invited to the session will be Timur Bochanov.

Timur is one of the founders of the first coaching school in Tomsk, Head of TOP-training coaching company, expert of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), specialist on human resources management and development, project and team management, coach of all-Russian schools of personal growth, and Program Director of OOOP Territoriya Uspekha (Territory of Success).

In the course of the first session at Olimp Sports and Recreation Camp, Timur will hold trainings and master classes on the following topics:

  •  Team Management training: “How to Create a Dream Team?”;
  •  Volunteering training: “Volunteering A to Z”;
  •  Efficient Communication training: “Things in Common”;
  •  Conflictology training: “Conflict Management”;
  •  Social Designing training: “What Concerns You Directly”.

Also, the participants will be able to immerse into the language environment as there will be a native speaker English teacher working during the session. In the course of a week, a conversation club will be functioning for the participants, where the most interesting topics will be discussed. All attendees, regardless of their language levels, will be able to take part in the discussions and improve their knowledge of English in the process.

This educational forum aims at developing supra-professional qualities of the region’s youth, what in its turn will help the attendees to participate as volunteers in the 2020 international events in Chelyabinsk. This year, the project is being fulfilled with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). A student from our university has won a grant for the fulfillment of this project within the frameworks of the All-Russian Youth Projects Contest among individuals.

Any student can join the session. For this, you need to register for the participation in the meeting and get a voucher for Olimp Sports and Recreation Camp before June 28.
