On December 10, opening of an exhibition entitled «SUSU - A Bridge between the Present and the Future” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the university is to be held at the Science and Technology of the Southern Ural Exhibition Centre (room 018 of the main academic building) at 10.00. Organisers of the exhibition are the Marketing and Strategic Communications Department and the SUSU History Museum.
140 historical black-and-white and modern coloured photos of format A3 will be displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition consists of 8 sections, each title of which includes lyrics of the SUSU anthem.
Sections of the exhibition
“A Bridge between the Present and the Future”. In this section, photos will display stages of construction and historical development of SUSU: CMEI – CPI – CSTU – SUSU.
“Joy of Discovery, Bravery of Research”. This section will depict research and innovative activity of the university: photos of research and education centres, laboratories, material resources and equipment, and innovative infrastructure.
“Yearning for Knowledge while We are Students” section will include photos of learning process at SUSU: photos of students during classes, in laboratories, on internship venues, in the library and on campus.
“We are Your Youth, You are Our Wisdom” will depict extracurricular, cultural and social events: photos taken during performances of student groups representing the Creativity and Leisure Centre, as well as photos taken at creative contests, concerts by invited performers, theatre plays and museums of the university.
“We Believe in Our Tutors, We Believe in Science” section will include photos of the university’s leadership as well as outstanding Russian and foreign researchers, members of the SUSU International Scientific Council and the Supervisory Council.
“You are the Winning Ticket of Our Life” will depict sport-related activities of the university: photos taken at sport competitions, photos of university teams, outstanding athletes and sport infrastructure.
“We Swear to Each Other in Eternal Loyalty” section will display portraits of outstanding alumni and photos taken at degree awarding ceremonies.
“Like a Bright Star which Beckons Inquiring Minds, Each of Your Departments Shines” will present photos of students, laboratories and educational process depicting activity of Higher Schools and Institutes.
The exhibition will operate December 10th through 14th.
