Friday, November 16th, a ceremony of awarding the Regional Parliament scholarships to the best students of the Chelyabinsk Region was held at the conference hall of the Legislative Assembly.
A second-year Master’s student of the SUSU Department of the Russian Language and Literature Aleksandra Kozlova became one of the winners. A cash reward and a red card of the scholarship holder were granted to the Master’s student for her special achievements in studies, research and experimental activity, as well as for becoming a many-time winner of international, all-Russian and regional contests and Olympiads.
“It’s my first ever regional-scale award, and it’s good to know that our results are being appreciated not only by the scientific community and our colleagues, but by the local authorities as well. It certainly motivates us to move forward, work harder, and reach new heights,” comments the student. “I’d like to thank Elena Ponomareva for my scientific upbringing, for the will to win that she cultivated in me, for the fundamental knowledge and for support; all my victories are your victories achieved through my hands,” says Aleksandra Kozlova.
The student plans to spend the money she won on a trip to Moscow; her dream is to visit the Russian State Library and get a chance to work with the archive documents to complete her Master’s thesis.
