The First Round of Young Leader School Came to an End

On October 1- November 9, 2018, SUSU held the basic level of Young Leader School. The participants of the project master super-professional skills and discover new opportunities for their development.

Young Leader School (YLS) is one of the large-scale projects of South Ural State University. This year it is being implemented within the frames of the grant support of All-Russian Contest of the Youth’s projects.

The main aim of the project is the development of super-professional skills of a person on the basis of SUSU as well as adaptation, self-determination and personal development of the university students.

Sociability, public speaking, skills of partner communication, ability to work effectively in a team achieving the aim – these are the aspects, which are studies at Young Leader School.

In 2018 Young Leader School passed its restructure. Now it consists of three primary and three additional levels. The first of them is a Basic level, which took place this year on October 15 - November 9.

First of all, the programme of Young Leader School aims at the first-year students of SUSU, but among the participants of the project, there are also senior students as well as students of other universities. This year the number of applications submitted made up 900.

The project is being realized under the support of Extracurricular Activities Department of SUSU, United Student Council, Trade Union Committee of SUSU and SUSU TOP 500 Advisory Centre. The programme and the organization of Young Leader School are being carried out by the active students of the university.
