SUSU Students’ Friendship Alley will Become a Symbol of Unity, Cooperation and Friendship of Students

2018 is filled with anniversaries. The most important among them is the anniversary of South Ural State University. The year of 2018 for SUSU is the year for summarizing intermediate results of everything that has been done within 75 years of successful activity in the sphere of education, science and student life. In this period, we recall history, memorable events and amazing people whose life is connected with the university.

In 2018, the decision to create the Students’ Friendship Alley was made at SUSU, because studentship is associated with new friends and acquaintances, interesting discoveries, youth and the best years of life. The Students’ Friendship Alley will become a symbol of unity, cooperation and friendship of students, and an important tradition of the university.

Nowadays, SUSU among everything is an international university, therefore the project is targeted at forming a comfortable international environment, strengthening of friendship and cooperation among students and teaching staff of all nations and  nationalities.

There are Students’ Friendship Alleys in such Russian cities as Rostov-on-Don, Kursk, Novosibirsk and Orel. Each of the Alleys has its own unique features, symbolizes friendship and unity of all studentship and university world. The common feature for all the existing alleys is that it’s located outdoors, in a significant-for-students place which has its own history, aura and traditions. Each Friendship Alley provides the possibility for initiative groups of universities to contribute to its development: plant trees or construct artistic installations. Such alleys are a leisure place for students at any time of year or day.

Each student will probably agree that there is hardly any better place for creating the SUSU Students’ Friendship Alley than Olimp SRC. Upon an initiative of the Department of Extracurricular Activity, the future SUSU Students’ Friendship Alley is going to be located precisely at Olimp SRC. In this regard, students, teaching staff and university employees are offered to answer the question of what should be placed at the Students’ Friendship Alley.

The best ideas will be used when creating the SUSU Students’ Friendship Alley, and participants will receive memorable souvenirs.

You can mail letters describing your ideas to the Head of Olim Sports and Recreation Camp, Veronika Livonchik, at livonchikvv[at]susu[dot]ru; or send a message to the I Love SUSU official VK group.

We are waiting for your ideas!
