SUSU Students to Take Part in SMM Ural 2018 Forum

SUSU students gained the opportunity to take part in SMM Ural 2018 Urals Social Media Marketing Forum. The organizers chose 28 participants to attend the forum for free, and students from South Ural State University were among them.

The Urals Social Media Marketing Forum SMM Ural, which will be held at Radisson BLU Hotel on April 12-13, will also be attended by the leaders and top managers of VKontakte, Group, Yota, HiConversion, SMMplanner, and other national companies.

“This is the first event in our region when so many specialists in digital marketing are gathering in one place to discuss topical advertising key work,” notes Andrey Ivanov, Executive Partner of SMMashing Media agency and the forum’s organizer. “It is important for us to create quality competition on the market, so that not only our specialists could evolve, but our clients - regional and national companies – as well.”

The SMM Ural 2018 program includes presentations by 15 speakers – speeches will be made in two topics: “Content” and “Promotion”. A significant event of the forum will be an interactive talk show with the heads of national advertising agencies about the future of social networks.

This year’s speakers include: Petr Gordeev, Head for Working with Agencies at VKontakte; Mikhail Budanov, Head of New Media at Yota; Nikolai Smirnov, Marketing Director at HiConversation; Rodion Skryabin, Director for Business Development at Lifehacker; Roman Gorbachev, founder and Director of Logomashina studio, and many others. A distinctive feature of this year’s event will be practical master classes planned for the day two. Workshops will be held in three fields: Quality Content (lecturer – Pavel Borisov, evangelist of the SMMplanner service); Programming in SMM (lecturer – Sergey Shmakov, social media analyst); and Targeted Advertising (lecturer – German Ermolaev, Executive Partner of the SMMashingMedia agency).

The workshop format means individual work, that is why group will consist of 30 people maximum. The participants of master classes will have a chance to obtain practical guidance on promoting their own businesses in social media from the best specialists in our country.
