Studying without Boundaries: Contest for Presidential Scholarship for Those Studying Abroad Starts at SUSU

An all-Russian open contest was announced for gaining the Russian President scholarships by candidates from among intramural students (under Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s programs) and postgraduates studying abroad at the expense of the federal budget allocations.

The recommended period of studies is from one semester to one academic year.

The scholarship covers the expenses on studying, obtaining visa, traveling to the place of studies and back, accommodation, health insurance, and use of the local transport.

To take part in the contest, candidates should independently contact the educational institution of their choice to obtain confirmation of their coming to study there.

List of Required Documents:

  • Letter of Recommendation from the university sending the student to study with a brief research and creativity characteristics of the candidate

  • Substantiation for studying abroad with the indicated field of studies

  • Recommendations by Russian (no less than two) and foreign (if available) scientists

  • Information on academic performance

  • Health Certificate

  • Consent of the receiving organization on admission of the contest participant to studies

  • Banking details of the receiving organization and cost estimate of the expenses on the scholarship holder’s stay

  • List of publications

All documents should be submitted to Room 351 of the Main University Building before March 19, 2018.
