Results Are in for the Tell the World about Russia First All-Russian Contest

An awards ceremony for the winners of the Tell the World about Russia first all-Russian contest for family creativity was held in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on February 26th.

1,017 people from 62 regions of Russia participated in the contest. In total, 458 videos and 549 text presentations were submitted for the contest. Participants of the event presented their works revealing how children see Russia and their hometown, demonstrating a true pride for the nature and culture of Russia and the achievements of their ancestors and current residents. All of the projects submitted to the contest are bilingual and translated in to English. The best of them will be published on sites in the English-speaking Internet.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign governments in Russia, the ministries and offices of the Russian Federation, and social workers – participants of parental, pedagogic and youth associations and societies, rectors, and international students studying in Moscow universities took part in the awards ceremony.

The Tell the World about Russia all-Russian contest is an image-building socioeconomic project aimed at forming friendly relations between countries.

The contest was established by the National Parents’ Association for the Social Support of the Family and Protection of Family Values, the Academy of Innovative Education and Development, and the Easy Speak English School with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
