On December 5, 2017 the anniversary 10th International Scientific and Technical Conference “KNAUF in the World’s Construction Complex” will be held at Sigma Conference Hall. Among the participants will be students, postgraduates and professors of the SUSU Institute of Architecture and Construction, as well as the leading specialists of KNAUF Company.
KNAUF Group of Companies is the world’s leader in producing construction materials and goods owing over 220 enterprises on extraction of raw materials, production and selling construction goods all over the world, including in Russia and CIS countries.
South Ural State University started its collaboration with KNAUF Company back in 2004. Since then the Institute of Architecture and Construction has created and equipped specialized training rooms and laboratories, provided equipment required for training and research activities, developed specialized discipline courses, and performed joint research. Also, as part of this collaboration a KNAUF Consulting Center has been functioning at SUSU since 2004.
On December 5th, a conference will be held in which students, postgraduates and professors of the SUSU Institute of Architecture and Construction, as well as the leading specialists of KNAUF Company will take part. At this conference the results of research on the latest construction technologies will be presented. Traditionally, a contest on the best papers and presentations will be held, the winners of which will be awarded with prizes, and the students with significant academic and research achievements will be granted scholarships by KNAUF.
