On November 15, students of South Ural State University who came for obtaining higher education from another countries are going to start passing the qualifying standards of the all-Russian physical education and sports complex training program called “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO).

South Ural State University actively supports and extends international connections. Annually, more than two thousand of international students from Iraq, Iran, China, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Venezuela and other world’s countries study at the university.

Specially for international students, Center for Sociocultural Adaptation was created, where specialists and volunteers help international students in their study; together they go on hikes and excursions, participate in contests and concerts. For informal friendly meetings of Russian speakers and international students, the Conversation Club was established.
