At the end of February at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and Tajikistan University of Technology (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) held the first meeting of experts of the Eurasian Club of Intellectual Ideas. The Foundation for Socio-Economic Development ‘Eurasian Community’ (Chelyabinsk, Russia) was the main organizer of the event.
Experts among whom was the tutor of SUSU, PhD History, associate professor, expert of the socio-economic development of the ‘Eurasian community’, Dmitry Glukharev, discussed the presentation of the network of expert community ‘Eurasian Club of Intellectual Ideas’, noted the importance of uniting the expert community around topical issues of socio-economic, political, and cultural cooperation in the Eurasian space. The main sites have been identified for further meetings of the club and the work plan for the next meetings has been approved. The scientists and sociologists, economists, experts in media relations discussed the policy of mass media to promote ideas of Eurasian integration and cooperation between peoples.
The work of the expert of the Eurasian Club of smart ideas aimed at the integration of the initiative groups in the socio-economic and socio-political spheres of Bishkek and Dushanbe and at creation of a discussion platform for the purpose of public involvement in the public debate about the mechanisms of interaction between Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Establishing such bridges between political scientists, historians, and media representatives of the three countries contributes to the involvement of the general public in a constructive discussion on topical issues of integration and gives the wide publicity the idea of mutual understanding of peoples of Russia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Involving the public in the public debate about the integration process will create the conditions for the implementation of the initiative network projects on improvement of social and political situation in these regions, the dissemination of positive experience of economic, political, and cultural cooperation, implementation of joint business initiatives, etc.
The outcome of the work of the Expert Council where the tutor of SUSU was present was the signing of the documents on the establishment of Tajik and Kyrgyz branches of Eurasian Club of Intellectual Ideas. The purpose of these documents is to promote international cooperation in education and research, as well as other joint activities in the framework of the network of experts of Eurasian Club of Intellectual Ideas.
