On February 4-12, 2016 “Science of SUSU” large-scale scientific forum coincided with the Day of Russian Science will be held in the University. The main goal of the Forum is to strengthen research activity and promotion of scientific achievements of the University in the framework of 5-100 Project of competitiveness growth. Scientific Forum has united the complex of events called to demonstrate the level of scientific developments of the University to business circles, specialists and community of the South Ural.
On February 5 at 10 a.m. the Forum starts with formal opening of exposition of an exhibition of the results of scientific and technical developments of SUSU in the Center of Machine Building at the address: room 141, Communy Street (laboratory building). In future the exposition is planned to become constantly acting and will be added with new exhibits – pilot items of the developments.
In the framework of the exposition opening the presentation of “Scientific Developments of SUSU” annual almanac will be held. We would like to remind that all the largest scientific projects, inventions and scientific achievements of the University for the last year are gathered in the continued edition. These are the developments which provide SUSU with stable leadership in the region and cooperation with largest enterprises.
On February 5 at 11 a.m. in “SIGMA” academic building of SUSU (Lenin Av., 78B) the official opening of the Forum will be conducted. The Rector Aleksandr Leonidovich Shestakov will address with gratings to the participants. He will present the main topic of the Forum – “The Road Map of the University for the period of 2016-2020 in the framework of the Project 5-100”. “SUSU-TV” Television and Radio Broadcasting Company will present video about scientific developments of the University which is created specially for this event. The distribution of awards will be held for the academic instructors and employees who defended Doctoral dissertations in 2015 and demonstrated the highest results in scientific activity.
Scientific Forum will be held during one week. During this week a large-scale scientific conference of PhDs and Doctors of Sciences will be held in the University. The selection of perspective projects for the participation in “U.M.N.I.K.” project (grant with the amount of 400 000 rubles for 2 years for the development of innovative project). For the first time ever “Foresight is the Method of Active Prognostics” business game for PhDs will be organized, and the regional scientific youth business school will open its doors after the completion of this program.
