New calendar year for SUSU has already been inaugurated by one important event – Andrei Epimakhov, Chief Researcher of Scientific and Educational Center of Eurasian Research, Doctor of Historical Sciences has received the invitation to enter the International Editorial Board of “Archaeological Research in Asia” journal.
The list of editors and members of the board includes authoritative researches, leading scientists from the universities of the USA, Great Britain, Japan, China, Mongolia, South Korea, and other countries. The works by A. Epimakhov are well known to many specialists far beyond Russia because their major part appeared in such authoritative publishing offices as “Cambridge University Press”, as well as top-ranking journals like “Nature”, “Cell”, and “Antiquity”.
The aim of this multidisciplinary publication is the publication of up-to-date theoretical and certain researches of a wide region from Bosporus to the Pacific Ocean without chronological limitations. Accustomed textual and illustrational material, if it is necessary, can be added with 3D-models and initial data in the online mode. The publisher of the journal is “Elsevier” company, which implies the entrance to “Scopus” citation base.
This event is one more step of transformation of South Ural State University into recognized international center of science and education in the framework of 5-100.
