Bachelor and Master Students of IETT from China Have Started to Pass the First Russian Exams

Bachelor and master students from China studying at the Institute of Economics, Trade, and Technology of SUSU at the double degree program successfully began to pass first exams at our university.

Nine bachelor students of the first year of the double degree program studying at the Department of Equipment and Technology of Food Production with the major in ‘Technological Machinery and Equipment’ has successfully passed pass/fail exams.

Students from China at the Institute of Economics, Trade, and Technology of SUSU are studying on the program of ‘2+2’. They had already studied for 2 years at their home Sichuan University (Henan, China). Now they have two years to learn the specifics of refrigeration equipment in Russia. Training is done in Russian, so students study intensive Russian language course at the Institute of International Education.
According to the group leader, Head of the Department of Equipment and Technology of Food Production, Yulia Igorevna Kretova, ‘Chinese students show the utmost diligence in studying of subjects’, - emphasizes Yulia Igorevna - Studying in a foreign language for them is not simple but they are trying hard and the results are already visible’.

Moreover, first master students of Zhejiang Ocean University also studying at the Institute of Economics, Trade, and Technology of SUSU on double degree programs have also started to pass their exams. The students have successfully passed pass/fail exams and have exams ahead. According to the program of double diplomas with the major in ‘Economics’ master students are trained in English within one year at SUSU. As part of the master program students will explore financial management, micro- and macroeconomics, econometrics, theory of scientific research, business English, accounting, budgeting, and cost management, and other disciplines.
