Graduates of the joint SUSU and Clark University program received master’s degree diplomas

The solemn graduation ceremony took place on December 4, 2015 at SUSU. Master diplomas of SUSU and Clark University were conferred upon the graduates of the joint master’s degree program.

A special guest of the ceremony was the U.S. Consul General in Yekaterinburg Marcus Micheli. The ceremony was also attended by the rector of SUSU A.L. Shestakov, director of the Institute of International Education L.I. Shestakova, director of the Institute of Economics, Trade and Technology I.Yu. Okolnishnikova.

Marcus Micheli awarded master diplomas of Clark University to the graduates. The rector of SUSU Alexander Shestakov awarded diplomas of SUSU.   

At the end of the ceremony the graduates thanked those who helped them during the whole period of studies. The graduates expressed gratitude to professors and lecturers and thanked all for opportunities that were provided to them. The graduation caps were thrown in the air and the master graduates rose to a higher level towards success. 

 

South Ural State University has been cooperating with Clark University (Massachusetts, USA) since 2011. There were several classes of graduates: two in Russia and three in the USA, more than 100 students completed the training. This program gives a unique opportunity to get the world-class international education. The languages of instruction are Russian and English. The master students have an opportunity to study at Clark University one or two semesters (electively).
