The best students of South Ural State University were awarded Ya.P. Osadchiy Fund scholarships at the Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant on November 23, 2015. The solemn ceremony with the participation of lecturers and students of SUSU traditionally took place at the production site “Vysota 239”.
The ChTPZ rewards the most talented students with Ya.P. Osadchiy Fund scholarships for the 15th time this year.
The chairman of the board Aleksander Fedorov says: “Most of the stipend holders are currently employed by our company, and they all work in important production departments. The ChTPZ has an additional facility of White metallurgy, namely, “Eterno” plant which produces stamped pieces for pipelines. The competent and active workers and engineers with a progressive way of thinking, who are confident in their skills, are highly demanded by our company”.
The fourth year students of the Faculty of Physics and Metallurgy Artem Bubnov, Leonid Dolinsky, Izalia Makfusova and Dmitry Grigoriev will get a supplementary stipend in the amount of 2500 rub. monthly from the ChTPZ throughout the academic year.
“Thank you for your high trust, it is very honorable reward for me, - says Izaliia Makfuzova. – I had been practicing for two years at a time in the Probationary center of Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant. I performed experiences, metal testing, and estimated pipes quality under the guidance of mentors. I liked everything in the plant: work conditions, relations with staff, and collective. After graduating I also would like to be a white metallurgist”.
Since 2001 Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant has been presenting scholarships of the fund named after legendary directory of Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant Yakov Pavlovich Osadchiy to the best students of South Ural State University and Moscow University of Instrument Engineering and Informatics. More than 140 people has been awarded for 15 years of the existence of the corporate scholarship.
