On April 8 State Duma Deputy of the Russian Federation and star of TV serial "University" actress Mariya Kozhevnikova will meet with SUSU students.
Mariya is famous for her parts in serials "University", "Kremlin Cadets", "Red Mountains", "Sklif" and feature length films "Dark World", "Exchange Wedding" and "Newlyweds". On the same day, April 8, Chelyabinsk Drama Theater named after Naum Orlov will show the performance after the same name novel of legendary Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho "Veronika Decides to Die" where Mariya plays the leading part.
Besides the roles in serials and films Mariya takes an active part in the political life of our country. In December 2011 she was elected as the Deputy of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of VI call on the part of All-Russian political party "United Russia". Also Mariya Kozhevnikova is a member of the State Duma Culture Committee.
