Professors' performance for SUSU Technological College students

On Tatiana's Day, January 25, at Technological College of South Ural State University (National Research University) the festivous event "Star Olympia - 2013" dedicated to Students Day was successfully held.

On the initiative of Aleksandr Zayko, College Director, the main so called "draw" of the students' event has become the performance prepared by the professors. This year it was decided to perform "The Tale of Fedot The Strelets" by Leonid Filatov. After five days of rehearsals the students enjoyed the funny and confident role of Tsar performed by the Director and the play of the following professors: Anatoly Smolin (Fedot), Svetlana Kurganova (Marusya-dove), Pavel Bolshakov (General), Irina Machneva (Tsar's daughter), Natalya Gerd (author), Tatyana Nikulina (Baba Yaga) and Svetlana Gryzunova (nurse).

The Administration representatives of Chelyabinsk Traktorozavodskoy district made up their mind to organize a similar performance on the nearest holiday.

On Tatiana's Day besides a traditional performance all the women named Tatiana were congratulated with their holiday. Also the results of the competition "College Activists" were summed up; the best students were awarded with diplomas, gifts and cash bonuses by the College Administration and its social partners. Then the best creative groups of the College and dancing group "Gali Vali" showed their performances.

On that day a group of graduating photographers prepared the report not only at the College but also at the event in the main building of the University with the participation of SUSU Rector Aleksandr Shestakov. We would like to offer you a joint report done by Vlada Shvab, Svetlana Dvornitsyna, Hastya Gorshkova, Polina Beloborodova, Egor Osminin, Fanis Rakhimov, Vika Ponkratova, Elena Averyanova, Irina Selivyorstova, Roman Valikhanov and Irina Dryzhkova.

It should be mentioned that the students of Technological College always enjoy a great number of different events, for example, one month ago at the sport stage of the College there was a historic reconstruction of the last battle between the French and Russian people which took place 200 years ago near Berezina. The future photographers are still discussing the pictures of that battle.
