At Trade and Economic Faculty recent technologies of sanitization at food industry enterprises were discussed

On December 18 in the Conference Hall of SUSU Library the seminar “Modern technologies of sanitization of the equipment at meat and dairy industry enterprises of agricultural sector” took place. The seminar was held by Ekaterina Anokhina, Chief Technologist of LLC “Third Millennium Technology” / ООО «Технология третьего тысячелетия» and graduate student of Applied Biotechnology Department.

In the course of the seminar Ekaterina Anokhina told in details about the peculiarities of control organization at the food industry enterprises. According to Ekaterina Sergeevna it is a multistage process. The program of production control is developed by the specialists of the enterprise then approved by its head and has to include the section of sanitary and hygienic control of production.

The separate section of the seminar was devoted to the issues of modeling and development of detergents taking into account the requirements of food industry enterprises. The technologist reminded that professional detergents have to be safe for people because they are intended for daily use. They should not contain toxic substances, solvents and pesticides. On the other hand, nowadays the development of biodegradable detergents is quite an urgent issue. Such detergents should not contain phosphates, EDTA, neonol thus the components with low degree of biodegradability.

Ekaterina Sergeevna focused listeners’ attention on the fact that rinsability is a very important characteristic of any lotion. The particles of detergent have to be removed from a surface after three-time rinsing but the specialists of Applied Biotechnology Department managed to improve this indicator thus to make the detergents safer.

The dissertation research of Ekaterina Anokhina (Rebezov M.B. as scientific supervisor) on the development of  environmentally safe detergent sanitizers for the food industry is carried out under the contract No. 10980р/16895 “Development of technologies, technological solutions and software in the sphere of information and telecommunication systems, electronics, medicine, mechanical engineering, receiving new materials and production of new  food products” within the program “Participant of Youth Scientific and Innovative Competition”. This program is organized by Small Enterprise Development Assistance Fund in the scientific and technical sphere.
