SUSU Industrial Robotics Development Centre Presented Its Developments at an International Forum

The “Digital Innopolis Days” International Forum on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Innovations in Education and Personnel Training opened at Innopolis University on October 2nd.

The team of the SUSU Industrial Robotics Development Centre presented a number of cutting-edge developments in the field of industrial robotics: a robotics training and research complex with integrated computer and machine vision, designed for the study and practical development of computer and machine vision systems, including basic image processing methods, objects recognition, and interaction with the external environment; a fractal-type pneumatic gripper for holding complex-shaped parts with the ability to adapt to the shape of the part during operation; and an electromechanical chain gripper for work in challenging production conditions, designed for forging and stamping applications.

First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research Anton Korzhov presented a report as part of the Industrial Robotics Development Centres as a Driver of Robotics section.

The forum will be held for two days, during which participants will enjoy an eventful business and exhibition program.
