The meeting of students of the School of Economics and Management with the Head of the Project Office of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund - My Business Centre of Chelyabinsk Nataliia Ogarkova was held on October 30th. The prospects for technological entrepreneurship in our city were discussed, and startup support programs were presented.
Nataliia Ogarkova spoke about existing grant support programs that help young entrepreneurs develop their ideas and launch their own projects, shared her experience of working with technological startups and talked about which areas of technological projects are currently most in demand in the Russian Federation.
The meeting with the head of the project office allowed students of the School of Economics and Management gain valuable knowledge about the key aspects of launching startups, including team building, overcoming difficulties at the initial stage and attracting financial support.
The meeting helped students form a more complete understanding of what is needed to successfully launch a startup, and it was also a great chance to learn more about technology entrepreneurship in Chelyabinsk, get acquainted with support opportunities and get motivated to create your own startup.
During the meeting, students also learned about the Student Startup contest and had the opportunity to:
• generate their ideas for participation in the contest (this was an excellent chance for students to think about their own startups and come up with new innovative solutions);
• take training in writing an application (the training helped students learn about the requirements for applications to the contest and gain practical skills in writing them).
This format allowed students gain valuable knowledge about the contest and take first steps towards implementing their ideas.
