My most sincere greetings to you on the coming year of 2026!
The busy and dynamic year of 2025, that has been marked with many bright events, is coming to an end. Over this time, we have not only strengthened our scientific and educational potential, but have also laid a solid foundation for further development of South Ural State University.
On the eve of this wonderful holiday, we usually sum up the results of the outgoing year, and we can rightfully say that we have a lot to be proud of. Significant successes have been achieved in the educational process, science and development of innovations, as well as in the youth policy fulfilment. We will remember the year that is about to end for the implementation of big projects, victories in competitions, bright sporting achievements, and big-scale creative events. At the same time, this year has given start to big changes within our university and in the Russian system of science and higher education in general. Thus, following the instructions of the President of Russian Vladimir Putin and the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, our university has performed a big-scale work on preparing for the transition to a new model of higher education. This is a very important step and a response to the current challenges of the technological development, digitalization, transformation of the labour market, and employers’ demands. What remains unaltered is the strong, committed and close-knit team of our academic and administrative staff, as well as our talented, enterprising and enthusiastic students. I would like to sincerely thank each one of you for your contribution, professionalism and motivation to achieve our common goals. I feel confident that we will continue to successfully work together in 2026.
