Cosmonautics Day is a special holiday for a student studying at the Aerospace Faculty, especially this year. April 12, 2017 the famous AS-faculty of SUSU celebrates its 60th anniversary. That is why the activists of the faculty of SUSU decided to organize a large-scale event dedicated to two significant dates.
April 12 at 12:00 on the site in front of the main building of SUSU students of the Aerospace Faculty will arrange a spectacular flash mob.
On April 12, 1961, an event occurred that became the starting point of the era of space exploration: cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin entered the near-Earth orbit on the Vostok spacecraft and flew around the planet. These were 108 minutes of flight, which the world watched with a sinking heart. After such a breakthrough, space has become not so far away, humanity is taking bold steps to investigate it.

The SUSU Center of Computer Engineering is dedicated to working on import phaseouts as a result of engineering developments for Russian companies. Total dictation is an annual event across Russia in the form of a voluntary dictation for all willing. Each year, a text is written especially for the event by a famous author; for example, in 2012 the author was ZakharPrilepin.
