Cosmonautics Day: Scientific Research Results and Plans to Develop the Industry Discussed in the Urals

On April 12, 2022 a conference dedicated to the current state of space technology development and the main astronomical events in 2022 took place at the TASS press centre (Yekaterinburg). The speakers presented information on meteorite expeditions, tests on a reusable rocket engine, and the projects of Ural scientists aimed at popularizing astronomy and cosmonautics. SUSU was represented by Sergey Vaulin, Vice-Rector for Research and Education Centres and Complex Scientific and Engineering Programs.

On April 12, 1961 the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to journey into outer space. The holiday-related events are being held not only at the federal level, but at the regional level as well. Control-and-Monitoring System for “Apartment Farming” Being Created by SUSU Postgraduate

Agricultural area and high technologies have been combined in the project “Development of an Intelligent System for Controlling and Monitoring a City Farm” by a postgraduate of South Ural State University (SUSU). South Ural State University, the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Senator of the Russian Federation from the Chelyabinsk Region Margarita Pavlova signed an agreement to cooperate on holding a research papers competition "My Bill in the Context of National Security".
