"University Sessions" are open! 82 children from new regions of Russia will have an entertaining and educational summer vacation at the SUSU Berezka Camp for two weeks.

Builder's Day is a professional holiday celebrated every year on the second Sunday of August. It was established in the mid-1950s, and today the industry employs more than 6 million people. On the eve of the holiday, Acting Director of the SUSU Institute of Architecture and Construction, Head of the Department of Construction Production and Theory of Structures, Candidate of Sciences (Engineering), Associate Professor Aleksandr Kiianets shared his vision of the situation in the construction industry, and also spoke about the prospects for the development of the institute.

The Youth and Student Tourism Program is an excellent opportunity for students, postgraduates and young professionals to travel around our country, staying at university dormitories.
Within the frameworks of close collaboration between Russia and the People's Republic of China, a delegation from Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics has paid a visit to South Ural State University.
This visit by our colleagues from the partner university is aimed at continuing to strengthen the partnership links between the universities, as well as at learning about new projects that we could implement together.
SUSU archaeologists discovered an interesting find, a burial of a “wandering metallurgist”, dated back to the Bronze Age. It was found during excavations at burials of the Sintashta culture in the area of Krivoye Ozero in the Troitsky District of the Chelyabinsk Region. The result was published in the international journal “Archaeological and Anthropological Sciences” of the Springer Verlag publishing house. The research was supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation.
A ceremony of signing four orders for admission of applicants for state-funded form of study (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Specialist degree) took place at South Ural State University. Postgraduate students also enrolled.
Today, 2165 people enrolled in state-funded places. The work of the Admissions Committee continues, because the acceptance of documents for the contract-based form of study for the 2024/2025 academic year will be completed on August 30th.
Roman Bredchenko, a student of the State and Municipal Management programme of the SUSU School of Economics and Management became laureate of the Youth Policy Award of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Two universities, three students, and one love ‑ for knowledge. We are starting to share stories of students who have returned after studying at foreign universities. In this article, we have spoken to several girls from SUSU who took their internships at a Chinese university.
Each of the heroines of our article studied at Zhejiang Ocean University (ZJOU) in the city of Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, for three months. All of them have returned to Russia with their impressions and memories, which they have shared with us.

From time to time, ancient copper figurines of warriors with quivers, weapons, and a bird on a shoulder are found in the South Ural region. They were made in the early Iron Age.
