Qualifying Round of the World Programming Championship Held at SUSU

The qualifying round of the quarterfinal of the 2019-2020 Student Team World Programming Championship has been held at SUSU. 46 teams, 40 of which represented South Ural State University, participated in the contest at our university.

The Student Team World Programming Championship is an annual, multi-level event, in which students from higher education institutions take part.

ЮУрГУ посетила делегация из университета Святой Марии США (штат Мэриленд) в составе 9-ти студентов и доцента кафедры экономики и права Департамента Бизнеса университета Святой Марии Майкла Берри.

Знакомство ЮУрГУ с университетом Святой Марии началось в 2008 году, когда первая делегация студентов приехала с дружеским визитом для участия в играх SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise — «Студенты в свободном предпринимательстве»).

Экология – одно из стратегических направлений Южно-Уральского государственного университета, наряду с материаловедением и цифровизацией. Оно получит новое развитие благодаря активному сотрудничеству с новым экспертом Международного научного совета ЮУрГУ, профессором Университета Саутгемптона (Великобритания) Эндрю Канди, который принял предложение возглавить работу вуза по данному направлению.

В Южно-Уральском государственном университете проходят отборочные этапы на конкурсе талантов университета среди первокурсников: студенты демонстрируют свои умения и борются за возможность принять участие в финальном конкурсе 17 октября и получить призовое место.

За многие годы фестиваль дал дорогу на различные крупные конкурсы многим талантливым студентам. Это своего рода стартовая площадка для воплощения творческих идей и реализации амбиций.

Открыт приём заявок на ежегодный конкурс молодёжных инновационных проектов УМНИК-2019.

Победители программы получат гранты в размере 500 000 рублей. По итогам прошлого конкурса обладателями призового гранта стали 22 человека.

Как и в прошлом году, подать заявку могут граждане РФ в возрасте от 18 до 30 лет включительно по одному из 6 направлений:

In September of 2019, the 4th meeting of the Asia-Oceania Sonochemical Society 2019 (AOSS-4) took place in Nanjing University of the city of Nanjing in China. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the latest accomplishments in the sphere of ultrasound and sonochemistry, and present the latest perspectives in this research area.

“Boiling Point” Opening at SUSU

On Saturday, October 19th, a big-scale event will be held: the opening of the second wave of “Boiling Points” at 47 universities in Russia, one of which is South Ural State University.

The SUSU’s “Boiling Point” will be created for a community of representatives of the fields of education, science, business, non-commercial sector, and the government: businesspeople and technological entrepreneurs. Participants will also include public employees, researchers, members of social organisations and professional communities, students, theorists, and practitioners.

SUSU Climbs up in a Reputable Regional Ranking, QS EECA 2020

Every year, a reputable QS Quacquarelli Symonds ranking agency publishes rankings of the world’s top universities. In the new edition of a regional ranking, QS EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia), which includes 354 universities from the countries of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia, South Ural State University has taken the 128th place, having improved its last year’s standing by 7 positions.
