Philologists are specialists with the skills of professional (including virtual) communication, and the skills of creating and editing stylistically expressive and intensive texts using their in-depth knowledge of language, literature, history, and psychology. A multi-level educational complex allows to combine the linguistic, rhetorical, hermeneutical, pragmatical, sociological, and psychological aspects of analysing the linguistic processes; and form professional skills in the field of rhetoric and functional language norms. Graduates who have mastered this Bachelor's degree programme can professionally work with: languages, in their theoretical, practical, synchronous, diachronous, sociocultural and other aspects; literary fiction and verbal folklore in their historical and theoretical aspects with consideration to their patterns of existence in various regions and countries; different types of texts: written, oral, and virtual (including hypertext and textual elements of multimedia objects); written, oral, and virtual communication.
