SUSU Welcomes the Ten Thousandth Applicant, a Future Automation Engineering Specialist

The Admissions Campaign at South Ural State University gains momentum. Aleksandr Erlikh, enrolling in the Institute of Engineering and Technology, has become the ten thousandth applicant who has presently submitted his documents to our university.

Aleksandr has chosen the programme in Automation of Technological Processes and Production, which is among the top most in-demand fields in our country.

SUSU Listed among the TOP 40 in the 2025 Interfax National University Ranking

According to the National University Ranking study, annually conducted by the Interfax Information Group, South Ural State University has taken the 32nd place in the composite 2025 ranking. SUSU holds the first place among universities in Chelyabinsk, and the second place among universities of the Ural Federal District in this composite ranking.

The 2025 survey includes 369 Russian universities. The ranking is performed against such criteria as Education; Research; Social Environment; Collaboration; Innovations and Entrepreneurship; and Brand.

В сентябре 2025 года в рамках программы «Приоритет-2030» в ЮУрГУ состоится стратегическая сессия, посвященная реализации программы развития вуза.

На стратегической сессии будут обсуждаться стратегии развития высших школ и институтов ЮУрГУ. Также будет проведен внутренний конкурсный отбор, по итогам которого наиболее мотивированные сотрудники позже будут приглашены на очные встречи с экспертами Социоцентра программы «Приоритет-2030».
