In the field of construction engineering, they increasingly use BIM which is the technology for information modelling of objects. In Russia, this area is just beginning to develop, and South Ural State University may become a flagship. On the basis of the university, they plan to create the first BIM laboratory in the Urals.

The Psychology in a Changing World: Problems, Hypotheses, Prospects Science-to-practice Conference was held at South Ural State University. The event marked the 25th anniversary of the SUSU Faculty of Psychology. Participants from universities of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus were united in the online scientific information space. The student science-to-practice conference was organized under the auspices of the Russian Psychological Society.
