On March 14th, South Ural State University will hold the Open House Day in an online format. It will be devoted to student life at the university. Applicants will be told about the possibilities a student has when enrolling in SUSU.

The Department of Modern Languages invites 3rd year students to extracurricular lessons to prepare for international exams.

IELTS preparation “Module 1. Introduction to International Exam” (64 hours) — for students who have completed in-depth English training in semesters 1–4, having confirmed their English proficiency at B2 or higher.

Start Module 2 “Developing Skills for International Exam” (64 hours) — September 2021

Exam dates: December 1–7 2021.

Students can enroll in two ways: by contract or by state scholarship.

Off-site regional project session of the Kurchatov Centre to prepare for the All-Russian competition of scientific and technological projects Big Challenges was held for the first time in the region February 26th through March 2nd 2021 on the territory of children's health camp Lesnaya Zastava.

Applications for the Big Challenges contest were submitted by 110 school pupils of the Chelyabinsk region. 50 school pupils from the 7th- to 11th-forms of the schools of Trekhgorniy, Satka, Magnitogorsk and Chelyabinsk actively participated in that educational intensive.

В Южно-Уральском государственном университете состоялся юбилейный концерт, посвященный 20-летию творческой деятельности ансамбля бального танца под руководством заслуженного работника культуры Татьяны Зениной.

Каждые пять лет ансамбль отмечает юбилей, каждая пятилетка – большой пласт работы, профессионального труда: постановки, костюмы, тренировки. В эти 20 лет уместилось огромное количество знаковых событий, наград, медалей, званий.
