В честь Дня музеев в ЮУрГУ прошел мастер-класс по экспериментальной археологии. Эта наука изучает древние эпохи, ремёсла и восстанавливает забытые технологии. Ребятам показали, как из обычного камня можно сделать любое орудие труда.

«Мы решили провести подобное мероприятие специально ко Дню музеев – надеялись удивить участников мастер-класса», – говорит Юлия Васина, заведующая музеем «Народы и технологии Урала».

Студенты ЮУрГУ прошли в финал международного конкурса Steel2Real

18 мая в Москве, в Центральном доме художника состоялся финал третьего международного конкурса студенческих проектов Steel2Real. Организатором мероприятия стала Ассоциация развития стального строительства.

Финалистами инженерно-конструкторской номинации стали студенты МГСУ (Москва), УрФУ (Екатеринбург) и четверокурсники Архитектурно-строительного института ЮУрГУ Юлия Бекетова, Дарья Глизница, Андрей Мурмуляк и Анастасия Прудникова. 

“Engage one’s Life with History”: Master Class on Experimental Archaeology Held at SUSU

On the occasion of the International Museum Day, a master class on experimental archaeology was held at SUSU. This science studies ancient epochs and crafts, and restores once-forgotten technologies. Students were shown how an ordinary stone can be transformed into any labor tool.

Non-destructive Inspection: A Conference Was Held at SUSU Jointly with Karl Deutsch Company

On May 24th the First Specialized Conference on Modern Technologies of Quality Control. Non-destructive Inspection and Mechanical Testing was held at South Ural State University.

Among the conference participants were the employees of UralSibPromServis Scientific and Production Holding, who is an exclusive representative of the German company Karl Deutsch in Russia and CIS countries; as well as the head of the university laboratories, and the heads of enterprises of the Chelyabinsk Region, Yekaterinburg, Kamensk-Uralski, Novotroitsk and Saint Petersburg.

Мы поинтересовались у заведующей кафедрой русского языка как иностранного Института лингвистики и международных коммуникаций ЮУрГУ Елены Харченко как иностранцы воспринимают русский язык.

Jazz Band Head and Author of the SUSU’s Hymn Georgy Anokhin Celebrates His 70th Anniversary

On May 24th the Head of the SUSU’s Jazz Band Georgy Petrovich Anokhin will celebrate his 70th Anniversary. A flute player, instrumental music soloist and composer made special contribution into the history of South Ural State University. It was him who composed music for the SUSU’s hymn, which is being played in the university for almost twenty years. He was also the author of the hymn of SUSU Spring International Festival, and the song for the university’s graduates Diplomniki (Diploma Awardees).
