SUSU has entered the TOP-15 of the prestigious university rating based on the salary levels of young graduates employed in the IT industry.

For the first time, SuperJob and the Roscosmos State Corporation introduce a joint rating of Russian higher education institutions based on the salary levels of young specialists employed in the IT industry who graduated between 2020 and 2025.

In 2026, the lower threshold of the rating corresponds to an average monthly salary of 140,000 rubles among graduates. The salary of SUSU graduates in the IT sector amounted to 170,000 rubles, placing the institution at number 14 in the rating. This is the best result among the universities in the Chelyabinsk region and the third-highest result in the Urals Federal District.

«The IT sector has traditionally been a flagship field for our university, – stated Rector Alexander Wagner. – We are constantly searching for new areas for growth, and last year these were represented by two educational centers: «Digital Urals» (in the IT sphere) and «VirtUm» (in the sphere of artificial intelligence), whose graduates will set industry trends for the next few years.»

The rating features a total of 85 institutions from 39 cities, whose graduates have become Nobel Prize laureates, and whose students are the winners of major international student olympiads.

The research encompasses public universities, specifically on comprehensive and specialized technical universities.
