Student of South Ural State University and participant of the Special Military Operation (SVO) Albina Valeeva (codename “Snaiper”) has become a winner in the “SVO Woman” category of the 3rd “Women of Russia” National Award. This prestigious prize is annually awarded to women, who have achieved significant results in their professional, public and social activities.
The awarding ceremony is held with the support from the Cultural Innovations Development Centre. The event’s mission is to identify women, who have proven themselves in such fields as science, education, medicine, technologies, business, art, and sports, as well as in development of charitable, social and regional initiatives, and preservation of moral and family values, and to provide them with support and incentives.
Albina successfully combines studying in a SUSU master’s degree programme with her military service in the SVO zone. On equal footing with men, she is currently performing difficult tasks, while demonstrating high professionalism and stamina. In her interview, Albina has shared on her understanding of patriotism, of the role of women in modern army, as well as on how university education helps her in fulfilling her military service tasks.
Albina’s story is a good example of spiritual strength, faithfulness to one’s country, and striving for development even in the most difficult conditions. Her victory in the “Women of Russia” National Award has become a well-deserved recognition of her contribution and of her personal courage.
