This year, 30 higher education institutions of the Chelyabinsk region will open their doors for university applicants. Representatives of universities organized a roundtable discussion to talk about specificities of admission campaign – 2018.

People learned how to use their unlimited resources to generate power from the energy of waves, tides, undercurrents, biogas and geothermal sources, but the possibilities hidden in the world’s oceans are much bigger.

Government of the Russian Federation decided to expand quota limit at Russian universities for applicants from Syrian Arab Republic up to 500 people in the academic year 2019-2020. In frameworks of cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo, on May 23rd through 30th in Damask, Russian-Syrian commission carried out a campaign for selection of students who are to take part in recovery of Syria in the post-war period after finishing their education in Russia. The commission included representatives of Russia’s leading universities, one of which was South Ural State University.
The Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (INSM) of South Ural State University combines fundamental scientific training and modern technologies, what allows it to be a competitive “supplier” of employees on the current labour market. The Institute comprises three faculties (Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences, Faculty of Physics and Faculty of Chemistry), maintains active scientific bonds with the leading universities of Great Britain, Germany, USA, Spain, Serbia, and Finland.
