Digital Twins of Perfect Specialists for Assistance to Young People in Professional Orientation are to be Created at SUSU

Choosing a profession in many aspects determine a person’s future as well as his or her development and life quality. However, not everyone can answer the question of whom to become. In order to help university applicants and students to choose a sphere of professional activity, the Faculty of Psychology of the SUSU Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities is launching a project entitled “Digital Biometrical Twin of a Professional”.

В Южно-Уральском государственном университете состоялось открытие Общероссийской научно-практической конференции «Библиотека – научная коммуникация – университет».

Мероприятие приурочено сразу к двум знаменательным датам − 75-летнему юбилею научной библиотеки ЮУрГУ и 50-летию методического объединения библиотек вузов Челябинской области.

С торжественным словом на открытие мероприятия выступил проректор по учебной работе Андрей Шмидт.

С 10 по 14 октября в Уральском государственном педагогическом университете состоялась Международная научная конференция «Учимся понимать Россию: политическая и массмедийная коммуникация». На конференцию приехали ученые из разных городов и стран. Южно-Уральский государственный университет представляли доктора наук Наталья Кошкарова, Ольга Солопова и Елена Харченко.

Выбор профессии во многом определяет будущее человека, его развитие и качество жизни. Однако далеко не каждый может самостоятельно ответить на вопрос «Кем быть?». Чтобы помочь абитуриентам и студентам определиться со сферой деятельности, на факультете психологии Института социально-гуманитарных наук ЮУрГУ запускается проект «Цифровой биометрический двойник профессионала».

В ЮУрГУ выступит Государственный академический ансамбль танца Сибири им. Михаила Годенко

24 октября в 16:00 в Актовом зале Южно-Уральского государственного университета в рамках студенческой филармонии состоится концерт Государственного академического ансамбля танца Сибири им. Михаила Годенко, который на протяжении 50 лет остается визитной карточкой Красноярского края.

Коллектив имел триумфальный успех на всех континентах и более чем в 70 странах мира; получил немало наград: орден Труда I степени во Вьетнаме, Золотую медаль в Тунисе, более двадцати почетных званий заслуженных и народных артистов России.

Dear Mr. Shestakov! Dear lecturers, postgraduates and students of South Ural State University! On behalf of the Legislative Assembly deputies and from me personally as from an alumnus of Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute, allow me to offer my sincere greetings on the occasion of the university’s anniversary. During many decades, your educational institution is rightfully considered as one of the leading universities of both the Chelyabinsk region and the country. First the Institute and then the University opened doors for more than one generation of top-class specialists who, due to their hard work and talent, greatly contributed to formation and development of many industries of the national economy complex of both the region and Russia. Wide innovative orientation, modern technology, and innovative projects that the university implements allow steadily keep up with the time and carry out serious research work. Your noble work is an invaluable contribution for the well-being of successful development of science and higher education. I would like to extend special thanks to all academic and teaching staff of the university for maintaining the glorious traditions in education and training of new generation of specialists who possess advanced knowledge and a new worldview, and who are capable of bearing responsibilities and make important decisions. Dear colleagues! From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you all on the 75th anniversary of our university! South Ural State University has been dynamically developing for three quarters of a century. Our university has an incredibly rich history! In each certain period – from CMEI to SUSU – the university significantly contributed to development of the country. Nowadays, it is one of the leading higher education institutions of the Russian Federation and is listed among the best universities of the world. Chelyabinsk Mechanical and Engineering Institute, from which everything started, was established in 1943, the year that was difficult for the country. Our university got founded by truly great people – N. Dukhov, V. Malyshev, I. Zaltsman and many others. The powerful foundation that they had laid was strengthened by their followers. Strong academic and teaching staff of the university has always successfully completed tasks set by the time. It is difficult to overestimate the significance of our scientists’ research activities in the sphere of armored vehicles and missilery, production of ammunition and metallurgical technology, civil and industrial construction. We can be proud of our colleagues’ research in physics, mathematics, history, archaeology, linguistics and other scientific spheres. Our university, originally being an engineering one, was considered as a foundry of highly-trained engineering cadres, who were in-demand at the largest enterprises of both the region and Russia. As new areas of study appeared and started developing, it became multidisciplinary. As of today, the university performs training of competitive specialists in the spheres of natural sciences, engineering and humanities. Our alumni develop successful careers in world-level companies. Scientists, teaching staff and students of SUSU always aspire for new achievements. University employees do everything possible for the university’s development.
