Long-term Internship and Summer Courses in Denmark for SUSU Students and Postgraduates

Students and postgraduates of South Ural State University are offered a chance to take training in universities of Denmark in 2019/2020.

In compliance with the Agreement signed between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark on collaboration in the fields of culture, science and education as of November 4, 1993, the Danish Agency for International Education has informed on granting government scholarships to Russian applicants for taking educational internships. Long-term internships and short-term summer courses are also possible.

The applicants for the long-term internships can pick the university they wish to train in on their own. According to the Agreement between Denmark and Russia the following scholarships are available for Russian students and postgraduates:

  • Scholarships for 5-12 months, for postgraduates;
  • Scholarships for 5 or 10 months (1 or 2 semesters), for Master’s students;
  • Scholarships for 5 or 10 months (1 or 2 semesters), for Bachelor’s students who study Danish language and literature.

To enrol in a long-term internship, the applicants shall submit 2 packages of documents: one for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (in compliance with the requirements posted on im.interphysica.su), and one for the host party (according to the list at this link). The deadline for the documents to be submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for long-term internships is before February 11, 2019. Documents received after this deadline will not be accepted for consideration.

The documents for short-term courses shall be sent directly to the Danish Agency in an electronic form via this link. The summer courses in Denmark are open for students majoring in philology with the future specialisation in the Danish language. A letter of recommendation from a Danish language teacher is obligatory. Before enrolling in the courses students must have a 2-year background of studying the Danish language minimum.

The Danish Agency for International Education would like to specifically draw the attention of the applicants to the necessity of filling out their applications very thoroughly, including the part on the preferred place of internship. Applications with incomplete data will not be taken into consideration.
