23 октября в зале заседаний Учёного совета Южно-Уральского государственного университета открылся XII семинар по квантовым технологиям памяти Давида Николаевича Клышко.

Открыли мероприятие ректор ЮУрГУ Александр Вагнер, заместитель губернатора Челябинской области Александр Козлов и министр образования и науки Челябинской области Виталий Литке.

The Institute of Linguistics and International Communications took part in the All-Russian Scientific Conference with international participation "Theoretical Semantics and Ideographic Lexicography: Dictionary. Discourse. Corpus", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department of Fundamental and Applied Linguistics and Text Science of the Ural Federal University (UrFU), where the event was held. 

South Ural State University and Ural Federal University have a long-standing friendship and common scientific interests in studying the phenomena of language and speech. 

On October 22nd, a ceremony of opening a new student cafe IntellektUm was held on the 3rd floor of the academic building No.3 of South Ural State University.

The Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service, and its Department of Production Technology and Catering Organization, suggested the idea of creating the IntellektUm innovative student cafe and helped put it into life. The cafe was opened by the SUSU Rector Alexander Wagner, the university President Aleksandr Shestakov and the Institute Director Vadim Erlikh.

С 14 по 18 октября на базе Санкт-Петербургского государственного экономического университета (СПбГЭУ) состоялась XXХVI Международная студенческая олимпиада «Предпринимательство и менеджмент», МСО-2024.  

В олимпиаде приняло участие 286 студентов из ведущих российских вузов. Работа олимпиады проводилась по 15-ти секциям.

Также среди участников были студенты кафедры «Экономика и финансы» Высшей школы экономики и управления, которые успешно участвуют в этой олимпиаде уже 19-й год и ни один год не возвращались без наград.
