The SUSU Department of Linguistics and Translation Studies, with the support from the Academic Writing Office of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications and jointly with the Chelyabinsk Regional Branch of the Union of Translators of Russia, will hold the Translators' Fall Sprint 2023. It is a Ural regional contest of written translations, dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of South Ural State University and the International Translation Day.
We invite students, Master's degree students and postgraduates, who have a good command of the English language, to take part in this contest, which will be held online via the SUSU Massive Online Open Courses portal, МООC SUSU, in two rounds: September 23 through 24, 2023 (selection round) and September 28 through October 1, 2023 (final round).
You can participate in the contest via your account at "My Education" Modern Digital Educational Environment or Google account, or you can register at the МООC SUSU portal. Click the Create Account button and fill out the registration form.
Provision on the Contest, Information Letter, and Contest Registration Guide are posted on the website of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications.
Registration of the participants is already open. Prizes will be awarded to the contest winners.
The results will be announced on October 30, 2023.
